If you've found your way here, you're probably a fellow therapist, a conference organizer, or curious about the intersection of expressive arts and psychotherapy. Welcome:)
I'm building out a resource library for therapists interested in expressive arts, play therapy, and working with specialized populations. More coming soon — feel free to reach out in the meantime.
I'm available for speaking engagements, workshop facilitation, and conference presentations in expressive arts, play therapy, and trauma-informed practice. In 2023 I presented at the ITA Integrated Arts Therapy Conference in Chicago on the integrative use of music and visual arts when working with traumatized refugee women, and co-presented a Sand Tray Therapy workshop to Master of Music Therapy students at Wilfrid Laurier University. If you're interested in having me speak or present at your organization or event, email info@ccttherapy.ca
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist (RP #17263) in good standing with CRPO, holding independent status, and a Certified Play Therapist (CPT-ON-1245). I'm currently working toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor — if you'd like to be notified when that becomes available, feel free to reach out.
I run group therapy programs for children and youth through Bloom KW, a therapy practice in the Waterloo Region. Current groups include:
Game On! — a 4-week social skills group for children ages 9–11, using collaborative games and activities to build friendships, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Puppet Pals — a 4-week expressive arts group for children ages 3–5, designed to build social confidence and kindergarten readiness through puppetry and play.
The Art of Being a Friend — a 4-week group for youth ages 11–13, exploring healthy friendships, boundaries, and navigating social stress through hands-on creative activities.
To register for any of these groups, visit Bloom KW.
I'm currently developing new group offerings, including baby and parent classes — stay tuned for more, or email info@ccttherapy.ca to express interest. To learn about current group and individual therapy offerings. Click here
